This artwork is inspired by a local wave that breaks along Ramsgate`s historic sea defence. Ocean swell from the southwest hits the wall and creates a wedge shaped wave that breaks across the bay. I wanted to create the feeling of being in the line up close to the breaking wave, where the horizon disappears and the movement of water intensifies. This Artwork is a limited edition of 75.
The artwork is a Giclee print on the highest quality Hahnemühle paper mounted in 50mm acid-free, extremely light-resistant white card mount.
